Great little deli. Best sloppy Joe's in Summit maybe the entire area. Great staff fast and kind. They can crank it out. You know it's good when you keep running into police officers. All old school recipes. You really have to try the brothers out
Fed a mix of 10 adults and teenagers with their classic and turkey sloppy Joe's. Sandwiches were delicious, filling and a nice surprise for my company. Also added some salads and chips. I put in my order in the morning and all was ready on time. Prices were reasonable - perhaps because they're not on the Main Street in Summit but tucked away back by the public parking lot. They would go out of business if they weren't a hit with the locals. And they appreciated the order and helped load the food into my car. So I highly recommend them and would use them again. Got rave reviews from my hungry teenage guests
This is my go to deli when I'm in a rush and don't have time to sit down and eat. It's a tiny little spot, standing room only, but the service is excellent, just call 15 minutes ahead with your order! The owner and his wife are very sweet people and they put a lot of hard work into the business and it shows. I love supporting businesses like these!
Got some Italians on a recent visit. We were leaving to do the Cars Trucks Buses thing on the Turnpike. Subs hit the spot when we got home. Next time - need to get a sloppy Joe. Consider yourself lucky if u live near Summit - these subs were so stupendous!
Entrance on Alley St. Service was great and sandwich perfect. Coffee made how I like it.
Once you find it, this place is a hidden gem. This place can fit about 5 people max and despite its address, it is essentially incorrect as it is not on the road it says it is. It's in the back alley. We were in town to visit a local store and wanted some food to take home with us. The staff is excellent and quick. We got an egg and cheese - solid and a pastrami on rye - very good. They are known for their "sloppy joes" so I'm sure they are great, I just don't care for coleslaw and/or Russian dressing. Overall I can see the appeal and I would probably frequent it if I were local.
Food was amazing ,service was also amazing all the employees were nice 100%recomend. I would recommend the Taylor ham it's my favorite sandwich at the moment and I think you guys should try it. The area is also calm and there is always parking
Down an alley that runs parallel to Springfield Ave right in the center of town... Resides the smallest deli in the Western Hemisphere. While they are awaiting the Guinness's Records designation plaque, you can beat the crowds and sink your teeth into Summit's best kept secret. This is a deli with heart... but it's not on the menu. So two words... SLOPPY & JOE. Yea.. they do not mess around... home made slaw on that beast! Oven roasted turkey & Roast Beef made in-house as well. This deli may be small in size but do not be fooled.. their sandwiches are huge and their construction is on point... forget your artisanal overpriced dandy sandwich shop, get back to basics... and let the professionals craft you Sammie that you can be proud of saying... "I ordered that all by my self"

This place is a hidden gem. Tiny and kind of tucked away, you wouldn't even know it was there. I'm so glad I found it. It's the first time I tried a NJ Sloppy Joe. Being a vegetarian, I get the All-Cheese Joe. After having gotten that once, it's the only thing I order there now. Highly recommend!!
